The Faculty of Engineering, during 2017 and 2018, worked on the construction of the Strategic Direction 2018-2025 based on the Strategic Development Plan 2015-2025 of the Universidad del Valle; and which is reflected in its mission and vision, which were approved in the Faculty Council of November 17, 2018, according to minute No. 25 of 2018.

Mission

The School of Engineering trains integral and ethical professionals at a higher level, based on sustainability, equity and social projection, for the promotion of research, technological development and innovation that improve the quality of life and the development of the region and the country in a globalized environment.

Vision to 2025

The School of Engineering will be a national reference and will improve its recognition in Latin America for the search for sustainable solutions that contribute to improving the quality of life in the country through the fulfillment of its mission.
