Graduate Programs Department of the School of Engineering

In order to comply with the Strategic Development Plan 2015-2025 of Universidad del Valle, it is proposed to consolidate the General Postgraduate System, which implies defining its structure, organization, operation and direction within the framework of an institutional policy

Taking into account that the Universidad del Valle has consolidated an important postgraduate offer for more than two decades, which has generated a decentralized model in the faculties and in the regional headquarters, it is established that the University must act from a systemic approach, so that the General Postgraduate System of the Universidad del Valle to be binding, integrative and to strengthen its different subsystems within the framework of its mission objectives, such as training, research and extension.

Thus, the Postgraduate Department of the School of Engineering is established as part of the General Postgraduate System, which allows:

  • Coordinate the Faculty Graduate Committee.
  • Represent the Faculty in the Central Graduate Committee.
  • To direct the generic program of Doctorate in Engineering.
  • Advise and follow up on the quality assurance processes of the Faculty's Graduate Programs with the Academic Quality Office.
