Activities of the Administrative Coordination

The main characteristic of the Administrative Coordination of the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad del Valle is the area in charge of supporting the Dean's Office and the Schools in providing information and controlling administrative procedures and decision making of the Faculty such as: Financial Management, Human Resources and Administration of Goods and Services. The unit provides a series of formats, guides and tools to facilitate and optimize administrative and financial processes.

  • Provide support to the Dean's Office and Academic Units of the Faculty in the different administrative processes and procedures.
  • To carry out the general control and follow-up of the Faculty's processes related to financial, human, documentary and goods and services management.
  • Prepare, present and manage the reporting of administrative and financial information as required.
  • To review and register the contracting processes programmed in the Faculty's procurement plan.
  • Provide technical support in systems through the management, administration and maintenance of computer equipment, communications network infrastructure, audiovisual equipment and management of the web page of the Dean's Office and its dependencies.
