General Information of the STEM Women's Group of Universidad del Valle

Objetivos

• Encourage the participation of girls and women in professional development in STEM areas.
• Promote gender parity in the areas of science and technology, both in the academic and professional spheres.
• Visibilize the achievements of women in STEM areas Create collaboration and mentoring networks among women linked to STEM areas.
• To create links with other women's organizations in the country and the world.
• Promote changes in public policies that lead to gender parity in all areas of society.

Mission

The mission of the STEM women's group of the engineering faculty of the Universidad del Valle is to promote the participation of women in areas of science and technology in order to contribute to the achievement of gender parity throughout society.

Vision

To be recognized as a leading group at the national and international level in supporting women to become involved in and actively contribute to the areas of science and technology.
