Who we are and what we do?

Office of Laboratory Coordination of the School of Engineering

The Coordination of Laboratories of the School of Engineering is an entity in charge of supporting all administrative processes of the 73 laboratories of the School of Engineering.

Coordinate, promote and stimulate the development of actions in the laboratories of the Faculty in accordance with the Integrated Institutional Laboratory System of the Universidad del Valle.

Support the management of administrative processes, institutional quality, accreditation, and renewal of accreditation, and/or certification, in coordination with the Academic Quality Office of the Faculty, the Direction of Self-Evaluation and Academic Quality, and the Direction of Laboratories.
Collect information for analysis and generation of indicators in order to propose and support the development of strategies for the sustainability and proper operation of the laboratories of the Faculty.
Support the Faculty Laboratories Committee, which is chaired by the Vice-Dean of R&D&I, and accompany its management in order to fulfill its functions.
Represent the Faculty before the Institutional Laboratories Committee.
