The Research Seedbeds seek to promote from the first semesters of undergraduate studies the participation of students of the School of Engineering in the different modalities of the Research Seedbed Program after the restructuring that is framed in resolution No. 50 of August 30, 2022: Research, Technological Development, Innovation and Artistic Creation Seedbed Program (IDiCA).

It is indispensable that the student complies with the requirements to be part of the research seedbed program present in Article 4 of Resolution 052 of the Superior Council.

IDiCA registration procedure

Students interested in participating in any of the modalities must enroll in the subjects Research Internship 1 (Code: 999034M) or Research Internship 2 (Code: 999046M) corresponding to the School of Engineering. The academic registration dates for undergraduate students will be according to the current calendar.

Steps to follow

• Tutor: Establish the student's work plan and research project in which the student will develop; provide this information to the student.
• Student: Fill out the web form (Remember that the student must save the form in PDF before sending it, this must be sent to the academic program to which he/she belongs by e-mail with the corresponding signature of his/her tutor, in order to request the signature and endorsement of the program director).
• Academic Program: Review and endorse the student's application (compliance with the requirements of the research seedbed program), send the form with the endorsement and signature of the Director of the program to the email of the Vice-Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for review and endorsement.
• Vice-Deanship of Research: Send to the academic program the form with the endorsement of the Vice-Dean's Office to register the subject requested by the student.

NOTE:

The Vice-Dean's Office for Research will not be responsible for the grade of students who enroll without completing the endorsement process with this office.
