Functions of the Extension and Social Outreach Office

Within the extension project of the Universidad del Valle and the actions of social projection, a series of services are developed, aligned to meet the objectives of research, curriculum and community factors. These are:

Student services:

• Support in events with materials, protocols, permissions, approaches with other departments and offices of the University, quotations, etc.

Services for administrative personnel:

• Procedures for agreements and contracts, continuing education.
• Teachers' management: Direct mail channel for approaching schools in accreditation processes, dissemination of official communications, calls for applications, etc.

Services for external audiences:

• Signing of agreements, specific frameworks, contracts with public and private entities.
• Employability: companies that require resumes with graduates, to be sent to the employment exchange. 

Alumni Services:

• Promotion of Continuing Education programs, dissemination of job offers, University job bank.
• Employability, support in calls for proposals, entrepreneurship and direct relationship between graduates and the School of Engineering.

Services for teachers:

• Support in the signing of agreements and contracts, design of continuing education programs.
• Facilitate the alumni database for relevant purposes.
