The internal organizational structure of the Academic Vice-Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering is hierarchical and is explained below in descending order. The first level of the hierarchy is headed by the Academic Vice-Dean. The Vice-Dean is advised by the Curriculum Committee made up of the Directors of the Faculty's undergraduate academic programs. The Secretary of the Vice-Dean's Office is in charge of handling correspondence, document management and control of the academic and study commissions of the faculty members.
Support decision making and manage the academic-administrative affairs of the Faculty involving students, faculty and academic units, based on the control and analysis of information and current regulations.
Lead and promote the processes of Academic Quality, such as creation and renewal of qualified registrations and national and international accreditation of the academic programs of the Faculty, in correspondence with the Institutional Strategic Development Plan.
Manage processes, internal and external alliances with organizations that facilitate the development of professional practices, internships and entrepreneurship.
Promote actions that favor inter- and transdisciplinarity in academic programs, as well as student and faculty mobility.
