Lines of Action of the Office of Practice and Entrepreneurship
The Office of Internships and Entrepreneurship of the School of Engineering has two degree modality lines for undergraduate students of the Academic Programs in Engineering and Statistics.
Line of Action in Internships
The Office of Practice and Entrepreneurship of the School of Engineering supports the university community: teachers, administrators, students and external public; in aspects corresponding to the lines of work of the unit. Some of the services offered are:
Services for administrative personnel
Elaborate and execute the legal documents required for the subscription of agreements and contracts, conducive to the development of the professional practice.
Articulate with the International Relations office the process for the approval of internships outside the country.
Student Services
Guiding in the practice process.
Develop the workshop for the preparation to the internship and offer it periodically, so that students acquire the basis to fill out their resume and prepare for the interview.
Services for Teachers
Provide guidance in the administrative process so that they can guide students in the achievement and development of the professional practice.
Services for External Audiences
Articulate with companies in the various procedures related to the publication of vacancies and requirements of resumes, as well as administrative processing of agreements and contracts for the development of professional practices and graduate work in the organization.
Line of Action in Entrepreneurship
Objectives of the Entrepreneurship Office
Promote and strengthen the capacities and skills for entrepreneurship of students and graduates of the School of Engineering.
Accompany and advise students and graduates in the structuring of the business idea.
Strengthen and promote strategic alliances for entrepreneurship training.
Manage activities to promote entrepreneurship
Services and Functions
Accompaniment to the Degree Project in the modality of Business Creation: Permanent sensitization workshop, guidelines for academic support, templates and style review for preliminary project and final document of degree work in business creation modality.
Management of strategic alliances: Monitoring, classification and dissemination of external and internal entrepreneurship training offerings. Directing students to the training offers.
Management of promotional activities : Entrepreneurship microsite, conferences, seminars, workshops, business fair.
Accompanying graduates: Advice on the implementation of the business models developed as degree work, Alliance with the Central Entrepreneurship Unit for participation in calls for proposals.
Management of promotional activities: Dissemination of events, calls and information, Workshops on creation, ideation and formulation of business projects, Diploma courses.
